1. Fill a measuring cup with two full cups of pecans. Carefully remove any pieces of pecan shell. 2. Combine cream, sugar, molasses and butter into a large pot. 3. Stir candy while bringing it to a boil. 4. Once it has started to boil, add vanilla and then pecans; but, not all at once. Continue stirring while you add pecans. 5. Once all pecans are added, drop a few drops of candy into a coffee cup with room temperature water. |
